I have one pair of fairly expensive AG jeans. I wash them maybe every 5-7 wears and spot clean in between. I wash them inside out in cold water on gentle then air dry on a rack overnight. I touch them up with a cool iron to keep them neat looking.

Anderson Cooper is famous for never washing his jeans. He was told, probably by Hilfiger, that washing them ruins the fabric.
Interesting, how we all differ... I really dislike dark blue jeans & like the look & feel when they soften & the fabric & color breaks down through washing. I wonder what Cooper's designer mum thinks about her son's 6-mo no jeans washing rule?

Of course Anderson never sweats or shovels manure.
I'll take your word for it... I can't get passed 1-min in the clip. I don't like AC (as a Vanderbilt, I'm sure he doesn't shovel NYC snow either) or daytime tele... it makes my head want to explode.
Wash frequency is contingent upon activity or occasion when it comes to jeans. I always wash them on gentle if they're not soiled in some fashion and, always in cold water coupled with hanging to dry afterwards. With a little care, you can keep your jeans nice looking and comfortable for a very long time.
How many wears can you get out of a pair of jeans without washing? Is it gross to wear them a couple times before washing? I mean, assuming no heavy sweating/stains/etc. I just hate washing them after one wear, it seems wasteful.
I go a very long time in between wears on my jeans. No set rule; just whenever I decide to wash them. They are much more comfortable when "worn in".
