How many wears can you get out of a pair of jeans without washing? Is it gross to wear them a couple times before washing? I mean, assuming no heavy sweating/stains/etc. I just hate washing them after one wear, it seems wasteful.
I have gone as long as 2 weeks. But typically 5 days is my limit in winter. In summer, its almost every day if I have to wear jeans because of ball sweats. But usually I wear only shorts between May-September.

It depends. Are you shoveling manure and changing oil, or hanging out in an office? Sitting in a BART seat where some bum slept for 8 hours? Some jeans you don't want to wash for a looooooong time. That's how they fade and break in the best. I won't even say how long I've worn a few pairs without washing them, but it's a long time.
Inexpensive jeans? Jeans you just wore on a horse? Jeans that the dog slobbered on, or that you just mistakenly dropped a glass of wine onto? Wash them as much as you have to. It just depends. Washing after every wear seems crazy unless very bad things happened to them. I don't even want to go there.

I usually wear mine for 2, maybe 3 times between laundering, depending on the situation they were worn in.
For the longest time, I washed EVERYTHING I wore after one wear. My jeans were never especially expensive but recently I purchased some that were a little pricier. I heard they would last longer and hold up nicer if I refrained from over-washing, or washing once a week at best. I guess that makes sense, but seems... not filthy, but sort of "squicks me out". I also don't like to buy used jeans (but will buy other pant types, and tops), but that's another story.
Pants of any kind are different from shirts. I launder a shirt after one wearing but jeans or pants can go a few days before doing that. They start to lose their shape if you launder them too much and I like to use fabric softener, so that accelerates the process . Same with my Dockers, the get washed every few times I wear them.
I wash jeans generally every 2-3 wears. It may not be necessary and I could probably go longer, but I pick a pair to wear for the weekend and then they go into the weekly laundry when the weekend's over. I find that I have to wash light colored khakis after every wear because they get dirty so easily, but darker pants and jeans not as often.
Like Adi, I don't really wear jeans in the summer. When it's hot, my casual pants are shorts, not jeans, and those get washed more often because of greater perspiration when it's hot. He called it "ball sweats," and like the term or not, it's pretty accurate.
