Boot cut jeans (man):
Skinny jeans (woman):

My impression is usually not always consistent with the items.
It depends on how they carry themselves.
A man can wear power suit but act with no manner then I will think the power suit is probably something he wears to portray certain image, aka wannabe. (Yes a little bit judgmental on that but I have to admit we all do have that in ourselves! Also that's all this thread all about no? Being judgmental on what one's wear)
For the same token, some girls can wear pajamas to grocery store and I would just think "Oh, how cute! They must have girls night-out. They decide to haul last minute ice cream for movie night"...
Pajamas: gives two s***s or less what people think
Coach, Michael Kors, Chanel, etc. purse: cares too much what other people think
Boot cut jeans (woman): whatever
Boot cut jeans (man): whatever
Skinny jeans (woman): trendy
Skinny jeans (man): needs to have man card revoked
Tattoos: "I'm sooo different...just like everyone else"
Business suit (man): employed
Business suit (woman): employed
Saggy pants with underwear showing (man): unemployed
Yoga pants: I care about my body
Flip flops: I don't care about my feet
No makeup: too busy; stopped caring to or trying to attract a man
Lots of makeup: too much time on her hands; trying too hard to attract a man
