What is the ideal male waist size?

I think the ideal male is 32. But realistically, the average is probably more like 34-36.

I have a 28" waist @ 5' 11"

I bet nobody is under a 32. That's pushing it even. Looks pretty dang close to 32-36 to me.

I'm surprised at how thin the poll choices are. I'm 5'11" and have a 30" waist, and don't know many people my height with thinner waists. I even have to settle for too-short pants (30 waist / 32 length) because 30/33 are impossible to find.

Since women tend to like guys who are several inches taller than average -- 6'1" is supposedly the ideal despite more than two-thirds of men not being that tall -- you'd think they would like a waist that fits with that height. I'd say that 30" is too thin and that 32-33" is probably what they'd pick.

Ideal depends on your height. A 28-30 on a 6'4" guy is going to look underweight, and the person with such measures most likely has low muscle mass, other words, he is a tooth pick, lol.
