I am so tired of putting on a pair of knee-hi's to only have them run by the end of the day. Can anyone recommend a brand that won't?

If you aren't looking for the flesh color old school type knee-hi, I would look into trouser socks instead. They are still thin but much more durable. I only have a couple of pairs but wear them throughout the winter to work and they hold up well.

I am a little old school, I guess. However I will definitely look into trouser socks. It sounds like they are much more durable.

I haven't worn knee-highs in years. Trouser socks are the way to go.

People still wear knee-highs? Go figure.

Yeah, they still sell them. Go figure. I must not be the only person wearing them.

You might try Wal-Mart's George brand. Their panty hose is not bad- I've spent lots more and not been as satisfied, and they don't run easily. I'm sure they would have knee highs, as well.

Default Thanks

I will check them out. I usually end up in Walmart for one thing or the other on the weekends. Thanks for the tip.

Another vote for trouser socks. Haven't worn or even thought about knee hi's in years.

Knee highs are more comfortable, IMO, but I wear trouser socks. If I want a sleeker look, I wear panty hose. Usually, I go bare.

Funny how something like the perception of hosiery can change so dramatically over a decade.
