I am 6', 210 pounds with a slim build. When I buy a t shirt, I want the sleeve to end just above my elbow or close to it.
Most shirts now barely fit me before I wash them and all shrink up after I wash them.
I will wear a shirt once and not wear it again because I think the sleeves are way too short and they look awful.
My next thought is to show up at the store with a tape measure to ensure the sleeves are long enough. As it stands now, I have about 5 t shirts out of maybe 40 that I actually wear for this exact same issue.
I have tried going up to a 2XL, but they are often too big around my neck and can almost swallow me.
Is there a company or brand that makes a t shirt that actually fits?
I wear white shirts under my dress shirt every day and I get those white undershirts from Costco. They last and fit very well.
If Costco sold those shirts in other colors and designs, I would buy nothing but them. '
Anyway... Any ideas or suggestions for how a guy can find a short sleeve t shirt with longer sleeves (I am not looking for baseball 3/4 length)?
Those are pretty long sleeves for a "tshirt". I don't think I've ever had a tshirt with sleeves that long unless the overall shirt was too big for me. That might be why you are having trouble finding something like that. You're basically approaching a 3/4 sleeve.
That being said, the closest look I can think of is American Apparel's "Le New Big Tee". I think they look goofy but it might be what you are looking for...however it looks like it is only "one size" so it will probably not fit you.
Just what's in fashion. Most shirts today are cut to land somewhere between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of the way to the elbow. Even if you're not a guerrilla arms, you're going to have some trouble finding ones that go to the elbow. Carhartt might be an option, but they're really baggy. Try Nautica or Quicksilver as far as mainstream brands.
