I am curious: What do you think about people who spend money buying fake glasses, non-prescription and wear them?

Not sure I see the problem. How would anyone know they're non-prescription?

This. Unless they tell you, you watch them purchasing them, or you demand to know if every eyeglass wearing person has prescription lenses or not, then how would you ever know?

Some people think they look better in glasses. Let them be, it harms nobody.

I don't know anybody that does that in real life. However, it looks very silly when that's all that's need for a superhero's identity to be hidden from everybody.

I'm not sure how I'd know - and honestly who cares? Personally I'd much, much rather see someone wearing "fake" glasses as a fashion accessory than those people who wear sunglasses inside. To clarify, I'm speaking of the dark sunglasses, not glasses that are shaded for medical reasons.
