The stores are full of them right now. I think they look ok on some people, but I don't wear them because they make me feel Amish, or like I just fell off the wagon train.

That's beautiful. It would also look wonderful with a laced bodice and split overskirt. I found this silk vest and have converted it to a laced top with stays and with a loose shirt like wearing it with my long skirts. You get looks but then that's part of the idea.
