My comments are neither idiotic nor geekish. They were intended to point out the subjective nature of beauty and the subliminal racism that ALWAYS underlies threads such as this one. Call it what you will. It still boils down to ethnocentrism and racist ideals of physical beauty. The Nazis wrote the book on this type of stuff. Its nothing new.
From what I understand some Ethiopians have some Italian in them which is why some appear to have European features? Remember Italy invaded Ethiopia at some point. I've met Ethiopians before and they do look good. Even Eritrea which is next to Ethiopia share the same look. I think Sicilians appear Ethiopians in lighter shade.
No. Ethiopia was occupied by Italy for only five years in the 1930s, and then the Ethiopians fought them off and drove them away. Ethiopia is a huge country that probably had a population of around 20 million in 1930. Thus, there is no way a few thousand Italians would have had any influence during such a brief occupation.
The Ethiopians had their characteristic features for thousands of years before the Italians came on the scene.

Well. when Gabourey Sidibe is considered the epitome of beauty we will be beyond stereo typing.
As always, these things are subjective, but for me I would say Spain and other Mediterranean countries- I tend to like the dark haired, small-featured look over blondes. But as others have said, beautiful people can be found in all countries.

If it bothers you so much or if it makes you feel insecure, then go start your own thread about "personality is what counts".

Have you ever seen a lot of Ethiopian women? They're usually tall, slim, and beautiful. I would think that "slim" would be a good thing the way men on this forum go on about how much they can't stand fat women.
