I have only had someone guess within 3 years of my age less than a handful of times (post let's say age 25). It's almost to the point I want a few more age lines. I do have some grey hairs though.
That is a dangerous game as you get older. Just want you to be aware that sometimes they will guess a lot older even if you have a baby face because they think you are probably older than you look
A waman gave me great afvice the other day. She tells people she is way okder than her age, so people say "wow you look great for xyz!"
Yeah, my husband told me that a while back - he said if people ask, add 10 years to your age and they will feel like **** because you look so good for XYZ! LOL
Physical mobility, stamina and mental cognition are far more important than appearing youthful in terms of facial appearance. But then I am married so no need to continue the hunt.
I used to look young for my age but no more. It always gets you in the end. Even Asian. Seen that funny comic strip about how asian women age...all svelte(20s,30s,40s) until menopause and then poof! Of course it is just an exagerration.
Watching older films from the 1980s,1990s and notice the actors are so thin then yet some still look good 30 years later but some have let themselves go and appear older than their age. Unhealthy as well.
A dead giveaway as to age are the lines going from the sides of the nose down to the mouth. I look for that when trying to determine someone's age. They're more pronounced in some people than others, but after a certain age, everyone's got them and you can't lie and say you're in your twenties because I'll KNOW.
Not always. I had a cousin who had pronounced nasolabial folds in her late teens. She had an eating disorder so that may have contributed to it, but still.
What's wrong with aging? Unless you are Cher or Madonna, you really dont have much choice. Seems like a quick source of depression to worry about something that is unavoidable.
Have you seen Cher and Madonna in recent years? They don't have a choice either.
I think I love you. This is completely hilarious. I'm 37 but just last week I was at the mall by myself and a lady approached me and asked me if I lost my mommy. I looked at her like she was nuts and said I'm 37 years old. She was so embarrassed, she actually thought I was around 7 years old. I take really really good care of my skin and I eat lots of fruit and vegetables. I'm just lucky I guess.
