I dont know if there have been other threads on this subject, but I need some imput before I go out and buy some new razors. I shave..alot..during the summer, especially. I am not particularly impressed by what I have been using. Do any of you ladies have a suggestion for a very close shave..all over, if ya catch my drift. Thanks.

I would recommend and electric ladies shaver and use a simple disposable for other areas . I use daisy disposable and a sunbeam old electric ladies razor that plugs into socket . This works very well for me ...

The Gillette Mach 3 razors for women used to last forever but I havent seen them in awhile. I dont use any one main razor to shave my legs because for me its the routine not the razor that makes the difference.

Use Wax strips instead. Frequent shaving damages skin, especially in sensitive areas.

The best ladies razor is a men's razor. I like Schick Hydro 5. The cartridges are expensive but they last a very long time. I use it on my legs and underarms. I use an epilator for the bikini area, because it lasts a long time (couple of weeks) and I don't get stubble or ingrown hairs. The epilator is something you have to get used to, it hurts the first couple of times and some times of the month you might be more sensitive than others.

I tried lots of different ladies razors and none of them seem to last very long for me. Then I noticed that my husband will use the same razor cartridge for months and he's shaving his face every day with it, so I decided to try the mens razors and have been much happier with the results.

Yeah, why not get a men's razor. My SO uses a Gillitte Fusion for her legs, she seems to like it.

You'd think they'd make ladies' razors better than mens since we have more surface area to cover. I've given up on the ladies' disposable and switched to men's Wilkenson brand disposables.

+1. A lot of things made for men work better overall. I think some of them are actually made stronger. Thus, I use a few products made for men or boys, razors and socks among them. I use Gillette Sensor 3 disposable razors and get a closer, smoother shave than I've ever gotten with those crappy pink and purple women's razors. I've used the Gillette Fusion reusable razor and bought the blades in the past with good results, as well

wax.

After a few times the hair is but a distant memory.

However in the days before I waxed I always had to buy the curved razors much better for the crotch. Venus they're called here.
