Say what you want about the existence of extra sensory perception, fact or fiction, but this is evidence that most people have at least some of that. I commute by bus and have made an unscientific study of this. In some cases it can be the peripheral vision catching the person staring at them, but often the "victim" is looking in a completely different direction, or eyes glued to a e-reader or smartphone, and they still look over. The deciding factor for me was using sunglasses, so they cannot see your eyes, and yet they still look back.
Sometimes I can feel peoples' eyes burning into the back of my skull. Sometimes I turn around and stare back with equal intensity. Their reaction is usually funny.
If i'm staring at an attractive lady and she turns to look my way I want her to know that I like what I see. Nothing vulgar or creepy, just an easy smile or a head nod. I a firm believer that life is way too short, if you see something you like go for it.
Some girls who over do the make up and are deliberately trying to look "hot" often have this attitude where they really believe everybody wants to stare at them and is attracted to them, but in reality they are not hot at all and have this massive entitlement attitude. Even if you so much as look in their direction they give you a dirty look or act offended even if you didn't even look at them! It exemplifies the whole point about "beauty is only skin deep". And I am talking here about not naturally pretty girls but ones who cake themselves in makeup, spend about 45 hours a day on their hair, have fake tans, thick mascara, bright pink lipstick, like some clown. In actual fact sometimes it is hard NOT to look, and all for the wrong reasons. But they actually think it's hot! Oh Lord have Mercy! These are usually teenagers who are too inexperienced and clueless to have a personality or opinions about anything, so they try and imitate the trashy celebrity "styles" they've seen in some cheap magazine. No dear, men want real women, adult women who act like....adults, uh, yeah.
