I went to a new beauty school today for a new cut and color because I have moved. I love going to schools because I find they do a great job and are a fraction of the price. Today my boyfriend gave me a check to pay for the services and when I went to pay I was somewhat abruptly told they don't take checks and never have. I have never been there so I didn't know this, it isn't listed on their website or did they tell me this when I booked a new client appointment. I was also annoyed that all the girls were using the "F" word around me dropping the "SH" bomb on their cell phones non stop and very very unproffesional. My stylist was sweet and very nice so no actual complaints with her. I am now supposed to call back within one hour with a credit card to pay for the service, but, with the way I was treated I am considering not paying.....what should I do? And the teacher cut my bangs to short....

You received a service, you have to pay.

Pay them, but don't go there again unless there are drastic changes. You might email the person in charge of the school with your comments.

I'm also concerned about their graduates. I'm sure managers at the chains will not be thrilled with that behavior.

Don't be embarrassed, you didn't know. Just pay...and look for somewhere else to go if you were unhappy with the services and/or the staff.

Life can get complicated sometimes, I just try to keep it simple.
