I agree with you on this.

Ive tried a couple of different ones with the last being a super expensive Philips Norelco three headed one that the wife got me for Christmas one year. It was just okay but you almost need to have your face "seasoned" to the electric shavers and this seems to only be done if you use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Skip a day and it really becomes not good in a monkey ball sucking kind of way. There are times where I like to go a day or two or more without shaving and electrics just aren't good for this, or better yet, they completely pale in comparison to refillable razors.

The Norelco just sits under the sink gathering dust. Nothing beats my Gillette Mach 3 Turbo refillable.

I like to keep a light beard so my hairclippers with attachments work excellent. When I used to shave regularly I used a DE razor. Closer shave than the Mach 3 crap and the blades cost pennies.

Hi, Can you please tell me what is the best electric razor brand that you've used? Thanks! I’m quite sure I will be informed plenty of new stuff right here!

If you'll ever see this again, I recommend that you read from the first post. You'll get your answer then.

I shave with a Mach 3 in the shower too .. by noon, I have stubble. Takes me about 10 days to grow a nice, full beard. I'm not able to use any electric razors. I tried one when I first started shaving and irritated my skin and did not give me a good shave at all.

I've been using the new Braun Series 9. It's much better than the Series 7 and anything else I've used before.

I use a DE razor (Merkur if you care for the brand); tried electric but it is not even close.

I tried a Norelco and it didn't work for me either. Never a close shave.
