I'm not including special purchases like wedding dresses as that's not a typical purchase.

The most I've ever spent one one article of clothing was about $150, for a swimsuit. I wore it once, lost weight and it no longer fits. I have to find someone who wants it now because I can't bear to give it to Goodwill, but will give it to someone for free.

In a total purchase, probably $500-600 - for myself. This happens a few times a year during summer and winter.

I'm a skier and I like high quality equipment. Pricey stuff.

I also used to play hockey.

Let's see:

purse: $500
shoes: $200
dress: $175

I am thinking of splurging on a nice cashmere coat that is about $600 (made in the USA too!). When I tried it on, my friend (and other people walking by) were like "that coat looks so awesome on you." It was a bit out of budget at the time. Now I am hoping to lose a bit or weight, and it is the sort of coat that would look horrible if it was the wrong size. So I'll wait a few more months! Not like it is cold, or I need it. I have plenty of coats. But this one was totally ladies who lunch!

Bags and shoes 2 to 300 each, though I rarely top out that high. Picked up a pair of brand new Talbots suede ballet flats that retail for 120 for 7 dollars at a thrift last weekend.

I've been in a mission for a particular stye of coat for about 3-4 years now. I've kinda outgrown the style of my current winter coats and I am looking for one with more polish. And it looks like I need to splurge to get. On the other hand we have hardly has our normal winter weather for the past few years, so it hasn't been cold enough for areal coat and I am driving to work now.

Between $250 and $500 a month. I love clothes , shoes and jewelry. I use my credit cards but I pay everything off each month. When I was younger, buying nice clothing was rarely possible....I am making up for that now.
