As someone who is actually allergic to sandalwood, there are few pet peeves of mine more than those who assault others with too much perfume. If I can smell you from 5ft away, its too much.
I’m not a lady, also not in my 30s or 40s but I thought some might be interested since I searched and did not find it mentioned anywhere. In general, I do not like perfumes, they seem too strong and sweet to me and some of them even seem to tickle my nose. My wife got irritated that there seemed to be nothing I liked so we both went out a number of days to do nothing but perfume sample since she was adamant about finding something. We stumbled across this and have both been very happy with it to this day (20 years?). Anyway, thought some might be interested to give it a try since I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere. I guess there are a gazillion different brands.
I love CDIHP. I exclusively wear niche, indie, and botanical perfumes. I own several CB.
I'm curious as to which favorites you might have.

In the past, I would literally put on Coppertone lotion just for the scent. I'm so glad that people came up with actual perfumes. I've tried the CB one, Bobbi Brown's "Beach," and some body oil from a seller on Etsy.
These days I'm usually wearing Vera Wang EDP, Miracle, Moschino Funny, and sometimes Shalimar Initial L'eau, which is about as sweet as I can handle anymore.
