Do most women look rough without makeup? (girls, natural, thin)

women are required to put on a little makeup at work to look presentable.

I think makeup helps to make a woman look more clean especially if she has some flaws on her skin and if her eyebrows aren't that nice.

In my opinion, make up is very important, it helps you more confident in communicating. Trully said, everyone is always impressive by beautiful girls who make up nicely.

Women with nice skin and eyes dont need it in general.. they look healthy and thats what make up does for a lot of us , makes us look more healthy..Ive never liked face powder or matte foundation, its very ageing.. but I do like a tinted foundation now and then with some mascara.

I quite agree with what you said .Making up can make one more confident. However, if a girl doesn't hope to look rough after removing ,she can choose to do skin care every day .

Yes and no. Some woman have a lot of scaring from acne or blemishes that looks much better when covered with foundation and makeup. The majority of woman, I'd say yes would need some makeup to be 'presentable' but some can pull off a no makeup look also.

I rarely had acne as a teen or into adult years, so I don't often wear foundation or I just wear a light coverage one just to give a little color. I do like to wear a face powder, very lightly to reduce any shine.

I don't have an issue with women who choose not to wear makeup - but several of them seem to think those of us who do wear minimal, tasteful makeup (a la Jennifer L. Scott's "le no makeup look") have somehow sold out to The Man.

I think this is much more common with people who grew up in the US. It's like they can't go do their groceries without putting a 5-lbs "smokey eye" make up

IMO most ladies before 25 look really beautiful without make up. This is real virgin beauty. I agree that it is individual. But a lot of women can't do right make up and spoil their appearance so they look twice older
