Agreed. Those drawings are terrible representations of what a woman should look like. Nothing in the picture is clear in any way. If one is to draw conclusions about what too fat looks like, the drawings should be clearer, or better yet, it should be a picture. And once again, we're discussing overweight in a female body, and not a guy's

It's funny because most women I know think they are overweight even if they are not technically overweight.

I think some men and women have a skewed vision of themselves and what they truly look like. I think it would be more interesting to see people pick their own figure out of a line up.

I think many women would pick a heavier image. Even my very thin friends are trying to lose some weight.( size 6 and under)

The funny thing is that I do know some men who feel they are not fat at all, even though they have a large belly. I've heard comments like...I'm in great shape, I just need to lose the gut.

I am not understanding the point of that article.
It would have been more objective if they surveyed Americans of all races because I have seen fat white, black, latino, indian and oh yes! even Asian men and women in this world.
Let's not underestimate the importance of having healthy eating options in your neighborhood as to reasons why one area of people may be overweight, too.
