This is the exact discussion I had with my friend today.
I always laugh when people say stuff like this. No one is talking about what "society" says. Sounds like the OP is asking for individual opinions, not what "modern society" says about what is, and what is not sexy.
Chuckle all you want, but SHE is talking about "what society says" because she's wondering why she isn't able to present herself in terms of "what society says" she should look like.
OP is clearly trying to see herself through society's lens and then getting frustrated over why she isn't able to meet society's airbrushed standards.
Don't expect him to be a mind reader, let him know when he does something right.

Instead of getting these ideas in your head from magazine articles (example: 12 things you can do to excite your man!) and other nonsense....just talk to us.
Also on the flip side, don't expect us to "just know" where, when, why, and how, to do something (or even what to say). We're not magazine articles, and actually we don't know everything. Tell us what you're thinking.
I probably have a similar look... Round face, toothy grin and doe eyes. The good news is that you won't age very fast.
Lightly Line your eyes on top and bottom and smudge the line. Wear blush to highlight your cheekbones. Lipstick color is up to you...no super shiny or sticky lipstick. Wear your hair slightly curled and messed up a bit. Like Victoria secret bed head. Wear something you think looks good on you.
Wearing something like sexy underwear can help you feel sexy. If you feel sexy, you will be sexy.
