Hello, everyone. Because my BF birthday is coming, i want to give him a surprise. I want to buy a pair of boots, but i don't know what color can fit well? Tan, black , brown? I'm still on the fence. Thanks for more advice. By thw way, he is 25-year-old.
Tan, black (although, technically, black is not a colour), brown; I've worn them all.
But yes, black boots go with pretty much everything. Though brown cowboy boots and blue outfits also go well together (I think) and, strangely enough, work with black leather jackets.
OP, what sort of boots are you planning to get him?
I can't see the image from my current computer, so I don't know what kind of boot you are looking at.
However, I have multiple pairs of pairs of boots in various browns as well as a couple black. Despite the fact that people think "black goes with everything" I find brown and tan leathers to be much, much more versatile for men's boots. I pretty much only wear my black boots with black jeans or some of my grey jeans (though I also wear brown boots with grey jeans just as much if not more) or some specific outfits. I throw my various brown, tan, or even cordovan boots on with just about anything.
If he does not have any boots already, and you're looking to get him his first pair, I would go with some sort of brown or tan as I find it more versatile and stylish personally.

All colors can be worn with pretty much anything/color. Depends on his lifestyle, style and what he has already in his closet.
Nothing looks cooler than some medium to dark brown leather uppers with western diamondback rattlesnake skin lower cowboy boots.
