Honestly, for my face shape, I'll take oversized frames over granny/Ben Franklin-style glasses. I have pictures from the early 2000s where I'm wearing small, rimless and metal rim glasses, and I'll take the larger, more prominent frame glasses any day.
Large frame glasses are in now. My glasses are now. (not shades but glasses).
And short shorts are in again among guys. Well assuming it is not winter.
Same with legwarmers.
Hmmm....I never dressed that way, and I'm a definate child of the 80s. The crowd I ran with wore 501s, t shirts, and hooded sweat jackets even. Hoodys have been around a while. Converse was the tenny of choice, high top. That or lace up boots. Red wings were da bomb. Lol.
Yeah, windsuits and all that other stuff must have been a regional thing. All I ever saw was 501's and other jeans, nothing much out of the ordinary, really, for casual wear, anyway. And hoodies have, indeed, been around a long time. Hooded tops for women (and unisex hooded tunics and jackets) first came in in the 70's.
And, yeah...skinny jeans, UGGs, and ombre hair are absolutely going to be savaged by people in 10-15 years, and then in 20-25, will be "so retro" (or whatever the current word meaning "retro" becomes).
"Vintage." lol
