I know that one thing that has changed about the scene fashion (formerly, "emo") was that instead of the hair just going over one eye, it used to be over both for a time. Could somebody tell me some other things about out-of-style fashions? I would like to know because I want to dress up as an old-school "emo" for a party that I'm going to sometime soon.
I personally prefer the old school "emo" over the newer more trendy style "scene" because with emo it's more independent whereas with scene it's more of a trend. And personally, while I am a teen myself, however I HATE trends! I hate anything new, to be honest.

"Scene" was like 7 or 8 years ago, when my daughter was in middle school. I think that trend has passed.
Indeed. I remember a female friend of mine dating a guy she described as a "scene" guy way back in 2005 (10 years ago). And by that time, the trend had already been around for a few years.
old school emo is short pants, argyle socks, greasy hair, gas station jacket, cardigan and being vegan. Like 1995 emo.
