This is one of the most beautiful performances I have come across. Gown is both striking and subdued at the same time. There is not that much cleavage, but just enough. She has a nice rapport with the conductor, always a thing of beauty. BTW I can't tell whether the conductor is male or female, which makes it all the more interesting.

Above all Soyoung is perfect in her playing.

No idea why it never occurred to me that there is a contingent who gets turned on at the symphony.

I prefer my classical artists in regular everyday wear:

Soyoung looking gorgeous throughout and her playing is virtually perfect. What is the problem?

BTW she did win the competition. This was a competitive event.

No problem. It just appears that someone else has noticed that you have a peculiar fascination for young Asian classical violinists in formalwear.

Not really true. Alexandra Conunova-Dumortier is Moldovian, for example. I am even obsessed with Yehudi Menuhin. But yes, I appreciate all the violin talent that has come out of Korea, Japan, and other Asian lands in recent years.

Then perhaps you should be posting in the Music forum.

Click on youtube, then on "more" to expand the opening comments and there's this:

Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra Amadeus conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal

And from wikipedia: She was the first female conductor to perform in La Scala.

Nice gown too!

Soyoung playing the Sibelius concerto at the same competition. She is so beautiful, and her playing is so perfect that she forestalls any weakness of the composition. She is able to take a poor piece of music and make it seem amazing.

The blue dress this time is perfect for the haunting notes of the Sibelius violin concerto.
