Now, I'm a heterosexual guy (19 years old) and I wouldn't say that I consider myself to be flamboyant, but I enjoy wearing boots such as those. I'm also more than fine with wearing what I find comfortable/enjoyable regardless of public opinion on it, but i'm just curious as to what you guys think.
Personally, I've never liked the fact that women have free reign to wear basically whatever they want, be it masculine or otherwise, yet men are typically met with harsh criticism upon wearing boots taller than our ankles. At least where I come from anyway.
Just to make sure there's no confusion, let me clarify that I'm not talking about riding/equestrian boots. I mean boots with a shaft that ends somewhere between 1/4th and 3/4th way up the calf.
Personally, I think there are a lot of great boots out there for guys. They can look really cool styled right, from some nice chunky side buckle knee high types to lower jodphur boots, all look awesome in my opinion.

19 year old male here too, homosexual, gotta say they do come off as flamboyant and somewhat feminine.
Bet hey if you like them. wear them.
I like the look, but haven't worn it yet. I agree that it stinks that women can wear pretty much anything they want, while men are very limited. It is slowly changing though.
Those ones you showed look cool. Similar to the ones a couple of guys(in their early 20s) are wearing here. Black looks good with any color wardrobe especially white....change to 1080p or 720p settings for better look.
Really it's a matter of what you want to wear, the setting in which you'll wear them, if you mind when people stare, point, and snicker (as some people rudely do).
I used to wear Fryes that ran at least halfway up my ankle, but then this was the 1970s and all my pants then were flares, worn outside and over the boots. I wouldn't want to tuck the pant legs into the boots, personally, even though I agree when the OP complains about how men have less freedom about these things. I'd still like tall boots today, though I'd prefer a straightleg cut that's roomy enough to fit over the boots.
