Wrap Around Skirt (buy, thin, long)

I bought my first ever wrap around skirt. And I can't figure out how to tie it.

There's a string on each side, plus a hole in one side of the waistband.

Pretend it's a towel. Wrap it around your waist, then put the string on one side thru the hole on the other. Then (I think) you wrap the strings around and tie them together?

One string goes through the hole on the opposite side, then is wrapped around the body and tied with the other string.

So it's not tied near the hole? And it ties on the outside of the waistband?

It ties on the outside. And use a safety pin at some point where the fabric overlaps, so a good strong wind doesn't show your panties to the world.

Good idea. I once had the bow untie and almost lost the entire skirt to the wind!

Take the skirt, open it up behind you. Take the side with the long string and cross over your body, poking it through the hole. Pull it tight. Wrap the string around your back. Bring it to the front and tie it to the smaller string. Voila!
