My deodorant is unscented and my body and hair care products are from Aveda, to keep the overall combination of scents compatible. Most of this fades by the time I leave the house. Occasionally I wear perfume and that I restrict to under my garments - and softly applied - so it's noticeable only if you're near me. I don't need to leave contrails of cologne in my wake that strangers can trip over.
Only think scented I use is the liquid Suave body-wash. Otherwise no. I rarely go anywhere that requires I be dressed up enough to wear scented lotions or perfume.
Everywhere I go, the unwritten (but occasionally spoken) rule is "no fragrances please; many people's noses are sensitive to them."
I don't wear perfume to the dentist or the hairdresser for this reason, but everyone else can move away.
