To Uncle Bully: Clearly a lot of thought went into the design of that thing. Is it floppy? Is it rigid? How is it used? How is it an improvement over a floppy washcloth? Not challenging your post by any means: inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!

Ha ha ha. This seems a bit snide, but you are going to pay the price for not scrubbing your skin and not having "greasy skin." LOL The grease is good as it keeps your skin moist and pliant longer. IMO using a washcloth to scrub increases blood circulation to the skin and stimulates collagen, making sure you have soft, smooth and supple skin longer, all over your body.

I do this too when I'm feeling lazy or the washcloths are in the laundry. But it seems the cloth does a better job of removing dead skin without damaging my normal skin. Sometimes loofah scratches me.
You haven't seen my skin.

I've been told by beauticians they know 20 somethings who would kill for my skin texture. I exfoliate occasionally with body scrub but once a month if that.

Its soft and smooth as a baby. I don't even have cellulite and im 50 and not skinny. My body looks almost exactly the same as it did when I was 15 despite giving birth twice.

No stretch marks even.

I'd just like to add that even the SIGHT of a loofah makes my skin crawl.

I use an exfoliating wash cloth on my body and a Clarisonic on my face. Love the clean feeling.

The things I learn on C-D. If you don't use a fresh washcloth every day you are germy and gross??

Okay, I wonder if people realize how soap works. Dirt, germs, etc., actually bond to the soap and are then washed away with the water. Scrub yourself with soap and a cloth. Rinse out the cloth thoroughly and all the dirt and soap float away. You realize, you now just used soap to clean the cloth, right? About the same as a washing machine would do? Hang the cloth to dry. Repeat the next day.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do use a washcloth when I bathe.

That's a scraper. The Romans coated themselves in olive oil, and scraped it off to clean themselves. The olive oil did a very good job of cleaning and moisturizing and some people still use this method.

There is more than one way to get clean....

Is a wash cloth any more germy than a scrunchy, bath sponge or loofah?

I use a loofah to wash to myself. I just use my hands to wash my face.
