Yeah, pretty much my routine, but I use a couple of towels per week, and I don't use a wash cloth. I use an apricot exfoliating scrub every other day on my face and neck, and Dial Gold soap on the rest of me daily. Been doing this most of my life. I'm 60, and I haven't contracted staph or anything else yet.

Anyway, hasn't this already been discussed, ad infinitum, months ago?

I use a washcloth if I feel the need to scrub; otherwise, I just use my soapy hands.

Nope...they would just create that much more laundry. When my kids were still at home, we had 5 people in the house...that would have been 85 washcloths a week to launder!!!

It's in the shower and under the water. Shampoo hair, scrub scalp, rinse, letting shampoo run down face and body. Rub face with hands while rinsing. Then put conditioner on hair. While hair conditions, put body wash on hands and apply to all pits and bits. Shave what is necessary when it's necessary (not at all necessary in winter). Then rinse conditioner out, while simultaneously rinsing off body wash. Dry body, comb out hair, get dressed, and go. In and out and ready to go in 10 minutes or less. I have 1 shampoo bottle, 1 conditioner bottle, and 1 body wash bottle in my shower.

Oh, man, I did in-home respite work for a family of seven who had a disabled child, and they, for whatever reason, used washcloths as hand towels, too. They had a huge wicker basket of clean, dry washcloths on one side of the sink, and a laundry basket on the other side to toss it in after each use. I cannot even begin to describe how much laundry accumulated from this alone. It was nuts. They stayed on top of it, though.

No, just use bar soap and lather it up on my hands.

I used to use those scrub thingies but seems like it strips off too many essential body oils.

I use washcloths and my favorite are the thin dollar store washcloths. I think they do a great job at exfoliating!
