No. I use baking soda as a deodorant, but I have heard some people have problems with baking soda on their skin (not me, so far).
I have also heard of people using coconut oil, as Sage 80 mentioned, but I haven't tried it, however, I do use coconut castille soap to wash my skin & hair.
Yes, and I'm not the slightest bit worried. The aluminum salts in deodorant form a plug to block the ducts that release sweat, so very little (if any) may be absorbed into the body. Even then, we are constantly taking in aluminum in greater quantities than what is in a swipe of deodorant, because aluminum is naturally present in food, water, and air... which our bodies are fully-equipped to excrete.
No. I use coconut oil for underarm odor control. It works well for me.
Yup, a combo of coconut oil and rose water takes care of ALL body odor for me - unbelievable really. No matter how sweaty I get or how much I work out. Coconut oil is naturally anti-bacterial.
