My boyfriend broke up with me last week and I'm dealing with a bruised ego. Big time. This was the first time anyone has broken up with me and I'm just having a hard time coping. I'm 21 and he's 27.
This may come off as shallow, but when we started dating I always kind of thought I was a little out of his league. He was a very charismatic and funny guy but I was also a really sweet girl. I guess not everything works out. I lve stalked all of his previous ex girlfriends and I didnt think any of them were particularly cute. Anyway, I was wondering what you guys thought?
Forget leagues. Forget looks. It could have been the age difference, which in the 20's, can make a big difference. Are you in college? Is he moving ahead in his career? It could be something related to that. I doubt it's anything so silly as "leagues", etc.
Are you kidding? You're cute, in shape, and have a sense of style. He's schlubby, dumpy, and needs to lose about 35 pounds. Honey, he was not in your league!
Shes ok, and wow judgmental much? Lets see a pic of you on here. I doubt you even come close to the OP
OP, you are like a 7 outta 10. Thats the problem with a lot of women these days is that they have some over inflated sense of ego. Use this time from your break up and work on yourself. I would say your ex is a 5, pretty average but the only ones out of his leage are like 9s and 10s
Just goes to show it takes more than looks to maintain a relationship.
Yeah, this. I think he thought the two of us just didn't fit together.
I thought we fit pretty well..or at least I was very happy. He wasn't happy in the relationship anymore. But boy did he care about me in the beginning. He told me I was everything to him. It's sad how things change.

LOL..... she's cute, but here in LA she'd get lost in sea of better looking women. She's Wisconsin 8 and probably an LA 6 or so....if we're so inclined to be judgy like that....
I'm really not being catty here, just stating the facts.
I find this thread a little odd and quite shallow to be honest, why isn't anyone asking why this so called "loser" dumped her???
Million dollar question.
I get that she's a little hurt and the ego is bruised and all and this thread is an attempt to lash out... I get that... I just hope the OP has a little more going on for her than whether or not she's cuter than the guy she is with.....

Just sayin....
He told me why he ended things. He said the age difference, not because I'm immature but because of where we are in life. And that our personalities didn't work together. We both had our issues.

Found the OP's ex-boyfriend!
