I think it looks good on you! I would go with sandals the same color as the embroidery on the dress and largish candelabra earrings. Hair up and no necklace. Maybe rings or a bracelet would be good. Makeup a little on the dramatic side!
I wouldn't add much at all. Let the detail on the dress be your main accessory. You could add a simple, delicate silver or gold necklace and earrings (simple! I said that, right? ) And simple, elegant heels in height you are comfortable with.
Enjoy! I hope you feel great in it!
Thank you, yes, I love the dress. I think for now I'll keep it simple. I lost one of my jobs... so until I get something lined up with my already part time job, I can't really buy much.

Can I wear white shoes after summer? I always heard it was a faux pas. I'm curious.
I don't like white shoes, in general, so I'd go with black, or whatever metallic goes with the jewelry accents you plan to wear.
Re: heel height, I find that wedges more comfortably provide lift than thinner heels, and are more stable. I typically don't wear heels, because I'm already quite tall (and pregnant, at the moment, and comfort is key), but the stability of wedges is much better than that of actual heels.

I heard that about wedges. I've never tried them, but I've noticed as I'm nearing 40, high heels aren't as comfortable as they used to be, or at least, I'm at the age where comfort is more important than when I was in my 20s and all I cared about was looking hot even though I was dying on the inside Plus I'm super short and I would like shoes to make me look a little taller sometimes. Are wedges sexy or are do they all look clunky?
