Hmmm - this is something I never would have even given a second thought to. I live in Florida, so not much need to wear scarves. I rarely wear any scarves, and would never need an "infinity" scarf. I don't like lots of layers. I usually only wear a scarf on a chilly day when I am out bike riding, and those days are fairly rarely.

If you like scarves, wear 'em, people! Sheesh, I can't believe the things that get some people worked up.

Scarves are not a fashion trend. They've been around for thousands of years.

I know that, but trends come and go. When I was in middle school we weren't wearing scarfs as an addition to our outfit, only the heavy ones for outside in the winter. If you did wear a scarf with your outfit it was considered "old fashioned". Now people are wearing them as an accessory, not just a necessity. I know it's not a new invention, but things come and go on a popularity scale. Bell bottom jeans aren't new, but they had moments in time where they were the current trend, then died out again.
