Like I said, number 12 and the last one are the only ones that look "feminine." The others don't at all look out of place, except they're oddly bulky. It should be socially acceptable for guys to carry something small. If I were a guy, people would probably definitely mistake me for gay. I would probably be involved in the theatre and dress like one of those old-fashioned messenger boys. I find those guys so cute...

I don't care what people carry. As long as they are not interring with my day, and not in my way. Then they can carry thier kitchen sink for all I care.

Whatever makes you feel better...
Anyone could google the definition of masculine. That wasn't the point or question, but I'll let it slide. still I fail to see how carrying a bag makes someone less of a man.

It's nothing about making myself feel better. It's about not understanding men who are close minded and view what a 'man' is through a purely contemporary, Caucasian, North American lens and which such a staunch black and white personal opinion.

But hey, whatever makes you feel more 'masculine'

It's appropriate to call a woman feminine. When a man tries to achieve the same effect he is called effeminate.

This generation of men is very feminine so I am not surprised.

The over the shoulder bags are not too girly, I have a smaller one & like it. I'd rather carry that than have bulging pockets full of stuff which is uncomfortable when I'm sitting down.

I don't think I'd carry anything that resembled a Michael Kors ladies handbag however.

Lol, a trend? Give me a break.

Purses (handbags--not briefcases or messenger bags) is not now, and never will be, a trend among men.
