I wear Lee jeans and I think that they around 30-35 bucks..... IDK.... not really sure where the dilemma resides, aren't there plenty of jeans that cost less than a C note?????

$100 jeans?

You're kidding right?

I'm 64, and my body too has changed, but Wranglers, Lees and a ton of off-brands do just fine. Walmart, Costco, Sams and a ton of other places seem to do OK for me. $25-40 max.

Oh, and I am 6'4", so it is not like I can find them everywhere.

Indeed. Wranglers are quite common where I live, and it's mostly cowboys who wear them.

And will rarely wear anything else. Same as hats. Resitol, or it won't be worn. I get the jeans thing, as they need to fit well and wear well. Not sure as far as the hat thing though; think it is more a status thing.

In all fairness, budget women's jeans are tougher to find than budget men's jeans.

I've noticed that to be true as well. I'm not entirely sure why that is.

Or you can buy made in America for about $35 and will outwear the former big name brands, Levis, Wrangler, Lee.

If you don't care about "name" labels these are excellent quality and I buy them local for $35.

Keep Americans working.

Will give them a try!

Same reason women's haircuts cost more then men's, in general. The market will bear it.
