I don't mean to hijack the thread, but my husband buys workpants, Dickey's, from Walmart for about $21. They never wear out, are sturdy and comfortable, and they make his butt look cute. Don't dismiss the discount stores, or farm supply stores for things like jeans, because they focus on performance, not just fashion.
I agree with this.
WalMart - a place I hate to go to - has some long Levi's, bootcut (I have a hard time finding jeans that are long enough for me without being too long - I'm 5'8" so not "tall" enough for "talls" but too tall for "regulars" a lot of the time), and they are under $30. They tend to last about two years. Not a bad ROI!

Walmart sells Levi and that cheap? I'm can't even remember a time I paid less than $30-$40 or $60 when not on sale.

I believe they still sell Levi's as well. However, they're not the "regular" line of Levi's that they sell in department stores (501s, 505, etc...) From what I've noticed the washes and back patch design are a bit different. Also, there isn't any stitching design or any red tab on the back pocket(s).
I never spend more than $15 for jeans. Costco sells the Amanda jean by Gloria Vanderbilt for $14.99. They fit great, look great and are not boxy. You can get slender fit or regular. Costco also sells Lucky brand, Calvin Klein, Urban Star, Rock Star and Levi's. Great prices on their jeans.
