I'm not Scotish, I wish I was, in my opinion the kilt is reserved for those folks...would I wear a kilt? YES! I would wear a kilt everyday, I really like the look and the syles. I guess in the deep winter months I would be in long pants.

Love my kilt. I have always had a kilt in my closet. Being half Scottish descent I think it is a requirement

It's not particularly comfortable to hike in a skirt or dress. I'm unsure why it would be to do so in a kilt, particularly a traditional one made of yards of heavy wool.

Traditional kilts are made to be worn in the cold, brisk chilly Scottish Highlands...and such. Not in more temperate climes. Wool was their traditional textile, being as they raised sheep. It kept those sheep warm...they figured it could keep them warm also

This thread is hilarious. Thread about a piece of clothing designed and worn by men, and we have 8 pages of responses mostly of women (maybe 2-3 guys responded?).

Very very very very very very very few men here in America would wear a kilt. And just like I said before, it would ONLY be during a very specific event where its part of the "uniform".

I guess a better question would be for the ladies here who have men in their lives (husbands or boyfriends), would you want your man TODAY (not x amount of years ago) to wear a kilt? Im talking would you go out and buy your man a kilt today, would you want/like for him to wear it while out and about with you? Would he wear it?

The question posed was, literally, "Kilts - What do you think?"

So people posted what they think. Seems to make sense, but that could just be me.

Honestly, I love them! But only on Scottish & the likes because they're the only ones who know how to wear them well!
