I think kilts are cool, but I am Scottish, so I may be biased...

I have never seen an actual kilt nor worn one but I suppose it depends on the weather and who is wearing it as to how comfortable they are.

No Renaissance Festival in your area? Lots of dudes rock kilts at my local one. I'll bet not all of them are even Scottish!

We lived in Iowa the last 5 years, nothing remotely close to that in the area we were in.
Outside of that, no , I have never seen anyone in a kilt anywhere.

Well, technically I'm around 1/3 Scottish, but I identify as mainly Scottish fwiw...But I must admit that I've never heard of "baw bag," do tell!

My BIL is a Scot, legitimately...born in the Highlands, near Inverness. He wore a kilt at his wedding. That's cool. Utilikilts all seem to be worn at Ren Fests by sweaty guys who look like Kevin Smith. Less cool.
