Hi Ladies,

My boyfriend and I are going to a formal New Years Eve party on December 31st.

I am wearing a long, strapless black gown that has a full tulle skirt and a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is fitted.

I'm trying to get some ideas about the best shape wear to wear beneath the gown.

The dress offers little support to my 36C bust size, I really don't want any of the crease of, or any actual part of, my cleavage shown.

I've never purchased shape wear before so I thought I'd reach out to you for some advice.

What shape wear have you used? Which brand, if any, would you recommend?

My daughter wears that size and has no problem finding strapless bras that do the job. She has some that cost about $10 at Walmart. I think they're Maidenform brand. If your dress has a very low back, you might need a bra shaped like this: Va Bien Low Back Strapless Bustier Bra 1508 at BareNecessities.com It would be better to try it on at a store than to order online, if possible.

Unless you have bulges, I wouldn't worry with "shape wear"...or girdles!

Nice choose, but I think round up bras is good partner.
