I lean towards everything in moderation...
Plucking the unibrow is a good thing- shaping is a bad thing.

Shaving/waxing chest & back hair is fine- shaving/waxing arms and legs is not.

Up to date hairstyle and styling product use is fine- spending more on cuts/highlights than I do is not.

Cologne/lotion use is fine- wearing so much that you can be smelled a block away is not.

Dressing stylish is fine- obsessing over it is not.

Just my 2 cents.

I used to work with a nice young man who got manicures and had his eyebrows waxed. He didn't dress like he was in drag but he did keep himself neatly which I thought was nice. No chance in confusing him for a gay man.

I like it when a guy plucks the uni-brow and keeps his brows trimmed. Keeping their nose hairs trimmed too is a plus to me too. Clean finger nails is also a plus (not manicures). A dab of cologne is fine. And a tan from the sun and not a tanning bed is good.

I'd be willing to say that I'm metro. I like to look nice. I can't stand guys who look like they rolled out of bed....I'm sorry thats not a good look.

I fit the build for being metro perfectly. Sadly, I can't pull off being "Manly". I'm really skinny, so wearing plaid and acting like I could beat up someone doesn't work out too well.

I wouldn't call myself metro, just a guy with style. On the other side what do you call women who shave their eyebrows and look like they drew to lines in with black magic markers?

If my dh or bf were spending more time plucking, waxing, tanning or shopping than I do, that's wierd. I like a clean guy who smells good and works out. That's really all I ask for!

Metrosexuals? The whole highlighting, body waxing, monthly facials, lipo, cosmetics, tight clothing thing? Meh, not so much.

I like a good clean smell, clean fingernails, clean shoes, clean clothes, clean apartment. The ability to build a bookcase and fix my computer rate really highly as well.

I'm offended by the metrosexual term. It implies that gay men are less then men and metrosexuals are inbetween.

I'm gay. I'm built like a UFC fighter and can scrap like one too. I wear clean stylish clothes, but I don't go for the trends. I do wax, but only my back and sometimes my butt, every other part is au natural with hair. Most of my gay friends are similar.

BTW I'm not attracted to so called "metrosexuals", gay or straight.
