For me, it's an eyebrow mascara. The outer half of one of my brows is virtually non-existent, the other brow is more white than brown theses days, plus I have pale skin and paler hair. Without the eyebrows, my face becomes just a large vaguely pinkish blob.

I'd say it 's a toss up between some lip color ( i seem to have lost color there and when I put on a bit of lip color I come to life) and or a bit of eye pencil lining my under eyes.
Each/both make a world of difference to letting me go from sick asleep to awake and vibrant. In my opinion.

These days, I don't wear make-up. I go back and forth. Some periods I needs at least some lipstick and blush. And some periods I am too lazy to worry.

Nowadays the main thing I don't leave home without is my new tinted glasses. If I am ever going to be out, I will be wearing those.

I rarely wear makeup, but when I do, the one thing I never skip is mascara. My eyelashes are almost non-existent and need all the help they can get.

I have not worn makeup for over 30 years....last time I wore any was a bit of mascara and lip stick on my wedding day. Even then, it was very minimal.

Edited to say : That is not entirely true. I DO wear makeup once a year...on Halloween when I put on my costume! Then I apply tons of fake flesh and blood, etc.

Lip stain/gloss.

Second most important is eyeliner.

I have my eyebrows tattooed on every so often, so never worry about that. Had eyeliner, but it faded.
