Does anyone have recommendations for men's dress shoes that are comfortable enough to wear when walking all day? My husband is a manager who has to dress up daily, and has to walk halls and stairs several times a day five days a week. He had yet to find good shoes after trying many over the years. Thanks.

Black leather walking shoes. If he has to do that much walking he should not be wearing formal dress shoes. I have a manager (three levels above me) who wears walking shoes for the same reason. As long as the rest of his dress is acceptable, then people will understand.

Rockports are pretty comfortable even in the dressy styles.

I'm also a manager that walks all over our 3 story building all day. Try the Nunn Bush Cameron, with comfort gel insoles. After using these for a while I watched for sales and got extra pairs of black and brown when on Sale. They are normally $80 but I have found them as low as $59. In dry weather I don't bother to change to my sneakers for the one mile walk from the bus stop to the office and back. Have him try them on at somewhere like Kohl's or JC Penney and walk around a bit in the store. The never even needed breaking in. Then check Amazon for a better price.

DH swears by Eccos. He's worn them for about a decade now. They have good styles.

I should have thought of Eccos. I got a good pair of those years ago. Thanks for reminding me.
