Is long hair (on men) trashy?

Frankly I was a bit weirded out by this style. This may be female-chauvinistic of me, but I felt like the wig/extensions looked like a woman's modified/less layered "Rachel". It looks straightened, then flipped out. I don't know...the length looks really nice, especially brushing next to his jawline to accentuate it, long hair on JT would look good in general (IMO) but not styled like a soccer mom.

I like a guy whose hair is on the long side. It works best on younger men, younger than 50 anyway. It is sexy and connotes a carefree attitude/look. I once saw an older guy with long beautiful silver hair and a full black beard. Striking and a bit pretentious.
I do not like man buns, too trendy. Just put it in a ponytail.

Long hair on a man can look very stylish, but the new fad of man buns don't look so great to me. I was at a coffee house the other day and a guy with a man bun was sitting next to me and I am not exaggerating but every minute he was adjusting that bun. I was worried that he was going to undo the bun and start swinging his hair around to redo it.
