actually so did I , I had said to my daughter in law that backcombing back in the early 60s was ma saviour. my hair was always lovely.. now since blow drying my hair goes tousled and wavy in the wind and I hate it... bring back french combing , high hair and hair lacquer hahaha.
Sun dresses from the 50s.. the ones with broad straps and matching coatee s or boleros... or anything Doris Day wore in the 50s and 60s excluding when she went a bit mod..
Yes, and the smart, sleek, dresses and sweaters worn in the early 60s (like Jackie O). They weren't revealing but displayed the female figure in an elegant way. I don't this look is antique at all either. Alas, most modern women are too big for them and they want to show their tattoos and cleavage.
The haircuts from the era? (like beehives) were not so good, glad those are gone.

I agree on the Doris Day fashions. The beautiful suits she wore were so elegant, well-made and attractive.

.
That look never went out of style. Well, except maybe during the 80's, which were a bizarre aberration. But women in the 90's wore it, and some do now, as well. It's just a more high-end look, that's all. The kind of women that wear it don't wear tattoos. They're definitely around.
I have a number of friends and female relatives in their 20's, and none of them have tattoos. None of them has cleavage, either. They all like the tailored, tasteful look like Jackie O. She didn't have cleavage to speak of, either. That sleek look is perfect for that figure type.
