Despite losing weight I have a double chin that makes me look fatter, older, and unhealthier than I actually am. I am a young mid to late 20s management consultant dealing with all sorts of people in different industries and city development non profits. Would your opinion of me change if you found out I I had a chin lipo while working on a project with the management of your company?
What if you find out that someone you are dating had a chin lipo? Would that positively or negatively influence your opinion of that person?
I know things like this shouldn't matter, but I find that they do. It's like the cars I drive. I know it is a side effect of having more experience and confidence, but I feel that people pay more attention to my recommendations and key findings now that I drive a 2015 V8 sports car or a 2014 lifted turbo diesel truck depending on the weather versus back when I had a V4 car produced in 2006. (even though depreciating assets like cars don't necessarily mean someone has a good net worth)
Anyone shallow enough to judge you for doing something that makes you feel better about yourself isn't worth your time. Although there's no reason you'd have to tell them, either.
Why would you even broadcast that to everyone you are dating?
Agreed here. Unless you get a really bad botch job, then who's gonna know you had it done. No reason to tell anyone.
Far as the question, I wouldn't care. If people have the money to get work done, then I don't see the issue. Different things make people feel good. And some feel they need extra work and help.
I don't know how chin lipo works, but I assume the work won't be as obvious as breast implants. Everyone would just think you lost weight. Unless you're in the fitness or beauty industry and trying to sell your gimmicks, then I would just keep it to myself. Although, I always admire people who are honest that they got work done, and admit their imperfections and other insecurities. I would actually think higher of them that way.
I'm meeting with the surgeon next month so he can assess if I am a suitable candidate for lipo or another treatment. I looked into chin implants to get that Hollywood superhero look but my thought right now is that is pushing it in terms of vanity.
Excuse me, double chin is not ruining anyones face. And the most powerfull is the one who gives the qwuaacks to those who are looks obsessed.
Don't we all want to look our best? Well, I do.
And Yes, I think a double chin can ruin somebody's face.
