I thought it would be fun to see what people have been buying for new spring/summer clothes.

This is my favorite season and I have way too many clothes for it, but that never stops me from getting more. I find fall and winter clothing much more dull.

Anyway, I will start - I found these great, lightweight rayon pants from Old Navy. They are just so comfortable and flattering, and perfect for warmer weather. Could be dressed up a bit, or worn very casual. They're so nice I am tempted to get another pair.

I guess I get to be first because it seems that some previous posters have been showing copyrighted pictures instead of their own or instead of writing a description.

So...I'm not that great at descriptions but I love summer clothes. I most recently bought a long Chicos Travelers (slinky material) sleeveless dress in a wild tropical print on a black background. I'm definitely not a fashionista but I think, paired with low heeled sandals, I can get away with wearing it to a show at a summer playhouse when we go to Maine. And I'm not a kid so I have to buy these "mature" brands, lol.

I recently purchased 2 dresses.

Both are stepping outside of a comfort zone.

1. I rarely have even worn dresses.
2. The 1st dress shows more of my arm than what I am used to. And I never liked the look of my arms. But a cute jacket could work. Maybe.

Thanks. Figured they could be cute, and possibly not too "little girlish" what with my crisis of still looking like a teen, evidently. lol Seems more mature than jeans.

I also bought a D&B purse recently.

I just bought new boot cut jeans. I don't think I'll ever stop loving boot cut jeans. Before that for summer I had bought a few cute tanks and some shrugs, white and black.

Were they on-line? I've been looking for one. I had a perfect small brown cardigan/shrug and I managed to lose it between last summer and now.

Thanks. Seems I am making decent calls then. The clothes are good prices as well. The entire dress I bought was only $24.00, no shipping or tax charged. Just even for the outfit.

The D&B was a bit expensive. But it was cheap for what it was. I paid around $70.00 what would be over $200.00 in stores. I was showing my mother some of the purses, and she mentions how much more she paid in stores. She's now gonna start going to Amazon if she wants D&B.
