Laser Hair removal is permanent. It takes about 6 or 7 sessions because hair grows in cycles. Then later on, as a few hairs may come up out of nowhere seemingly - you may need a touch up every couple of years.
Some hairs are remarkably stubborn and won't go away even after 6-7 sessions. But they will become thinner and finer after each session, so by the end of the initial run, you can decide if you want more sessions or just ignore the fine hairs.
It is expensive, but if that's what you think is necessary, save up and go for it.
actually for the face i would recommend electrolysis. it is guaranteed to remove the hair. i have had my upper lip and chin done and the results have been AMAZING.
