What is your opinion on wearing shoes without socks (Girls Specifically) (cut, product)

I am looking to buy a pair of casual Nike women’s sneakers(i.e. Thea, Roshe), but I was wondering if it’s a good idea to wear them without socks because I see them being worn without socks in a lot of pictures like this:

Since it’s summer I want a pair of women's sneakers that I can throw on without wearing any kind of socks since I prefer not to wear socks in the summer, but I’m worried that If I don’t wear socks the shoes will get gross and start smelling awful. What is your opinion on wearing sneakers without socks? Have you ever worn sneakers without socks, if you did, then did you have any problems with the shoes smelling bad?

You still need to wear socks with them. You just have to get socks that don't show.

You need to pick up some no-show socks. This is what I wear with ALL of my running shoes:

If you don't want to wear socks, then don't. I remember wearing tennies without socks at some point in my life.

However, I do like wearing low cut socks for myself.

i dont think its good to go sockless in certain sneakers like training, running, workout type shoes...me personally i also hate socks but i wear like the specialty running no show socks with my workout type shoes...I think maybe you could try sockless with like chucks but make sure you put foot powder... i use to go sockless all the time till i broke my foot...now i just wear no show for a little support...nike has some good ones for casual type sneakers that are super thin and dont show at all

I have. It was stank town. I mean, sock less for a run to the mailbox is fine, but for all day or something it will get uncomfortable, imo.

Buy some cheap innersoles and change them as necessary. Put powder in the shoes.

Personally I don't like wearing shoes of any kind without some kind of socks. I only wear sandals without socks.
