I am still wearing skorts to work. Yesterday, after I got home from work, I changed into shorts. The temps were in the 70s yesterday. I will probably continue to wear shorts or skorts until the temps drop to the 50s and below.
Still wearing them now and still tanning . Being in the desert SW, temps are still in the 80s during the day. When it only gets into the 70s, then go to jeans. Retired now so I live in my short shorts at home. In the Winter, I wear sweat pants and long sleeve t shirt at home .
At almost 70 years of age, I only wear longer, modest shorts on vacation when I won't see anyone I know! I don't think there's much difference in comfort wearing light weight capri-type pants and wearing shorts. Even been known to wear a skirt, which is also cooler and more comfortable than pants or tight shorts. And I live in the South.
My workplace is very casual and practically no dress code. So yes, I wear shorts literally 8-9 months out of the year. I have not put on pants for at least 6 months.
I won't wear pants until there is snow on the ground. What are your limits?
Female here, in NYC, September/October I stop wearing shorts.
I've noticed a few of these responses. Sounds like most people give up shorts when they graduate high school. Guess I never grew up
