"Pick up" a quality girl? How about you start with using the term "meet a quality girl". Pick up sounds like you are looking for a one night stand.
Here's a few ideas: church, meet-up groups that involve an activity you enjoy. Maybe it's cards, kayaking, biking, painting, pickle ball, hiking, whatever. If you live in NYC like it says here I would think you could meet women at a museum, zoo, botanical gardens, etc. Do you have friends who can introduce you to someone? Have you tried some of the better dating sites and I'm not talking about Tinder.

Pick up is just one of my phrases which means "meeting a girl" since quality is hard to tell. The girls I have went after are from places like the one's mentioned. Don't forget libraries lol and I wish I had friends that did. There was one friend who has a pretty sister but he started to act weird when I told him I was interested. I used okcupid, E,harmony, a muslim dating website, and plenty of fish... how are those? I will keep you guys updated.
