OMG, I do NOT like the look of new boots and shoes that come with the burnished toe look.
It's like designers are trying too hard.

Why would I want my NEW boots to come already looking like they're worn?

I watch a lot of the big TV home shopping channels and the hosts are raving about the burnished toe like it's some great look or something.

As Joan Crawford might exclaim: NOOO MOOORE BURNNNNISHED TOES!!

I had to look this up. I don't know; it doesn't bother me. But if you hate them, don't buy a pair with burnished toes.

I have no opinion. It depends on the shoe if I would get it. I generally don't because those shoes tend to be either more casual or more bulky than I like. I have one pair with a little, but it was a metallic grey leather so it worked in my eyes.

I had to look it up, too, I had no clue what it is.

I generally don't like dress shoes and suits and stuff or hipster clothes. I like jeans and Tshirt/hoodie and sneakers.

So I guess yes, I don't like them either.

Doesn't bother me at all. I haven't really noticed them, and if they bothered me, I just wouldn't buy them. It's not like they're the only option.

I like some of them.

Burnished shoes are a classic style which has been around for a very long time. It is a typical and sought-after look in many high-end, calfskin men's shoes. I like a lightly burnished toe on brown and oxblood men's shoes, especially brogues, wingtips, and boots.

These are some of the looks I like:

Although I prefer this look on men, it can look cute on menswear-inspired casual women's shoes. For example:

I had to look this up because I wasn't familiar with term, but it's what I thought of when I read 'burnished'.

I think it looks fine.
